Say you put the dummy save in the right directory, load Mother 3, then load an old save state that’s like halfway through Ch. Now when you load Mother 3, start a New Game, and talk to the first frog, there should be a dummy save that you can overwrite. Then go to homedirectory (whatever you’ve named the House icon in the left of Finder windows) > Library > Application Support > Virtual Boy Advance > Battery Saves and put the. sav file to have the exact same file name as your Mother 3 patched rom (but leave the extension).
